It started with the web.
I began as a web designer in 2008. Working with interfaces meant working with the way they were built, too. HTML, CSS and JavaScript became part of the design work rather than a separate step after it.
My career moved through web design roles in India and into UI/UX work in the UAE. At Mobilityeye, I spent years working on products where people needed to understand dense information and get a job done.
Complexity became the common thread.
The domains have varied: legal and news publishing, banking, cybersecurity, SaaS reporting, commerce and community platforms. The recurring task is to decide what belongs on a screen, what can wait, and what someone is actually trying to finish.
AI adds another version of that problem. A generated answer is only useful when a person can inspect it, correct it and understand what to do next. That is the part of AI UX I work on.
Design decisions have to survive the browser.
I work in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator. I build front ends in Angular, HTML, CSS, SCSS and JavaScript, with Angular Material where it fits the product.
I work alongside engineers on back-end integration. For me, a useful handoff is an agreement about responsibility, behaviour and the details that still need to be resolved.
A studio, and a personal practice.
In 2025, I founded UXSparrow Innovations. The studio is where client engagements are contracted and delivered. This site is my own record of the work and the thinking behind it.
I work from Kerala with remote teams, agreeing on time-zone overlap and regular opportunities to review the work. The best fit is a team that gives design access to the problem and space to follow through on the implementation.
